Experience
Liz Barrington started her career at Lotus Development (now part of IBM), where she worked for over 10 years in several international marketing roles. Amongst these, her positions included 'European Marketing Programmes Manager' and 'European Events Manager'. Liz was also responsible for rolling-out channel marketing programmes across Latin America, Middle East, Eastern Europe, Africa and India.
After Lotus, Liz joined Siemens Communications as 'Marketing Sector Manager' for Siemens' Corporate Accounts. At Siemens, Liz was responsible for developing extranet facilities for Siemen's key corporate accounts, and for managing an extensive corporate accounts' database and events' programme. 
Liz went on to work as 'Marketing Manager' for CS Rand (now part of the French-owned Sopra Group), where she had responsibility for strategic marketing planning and the development and implementation of the marketing communications plan, in addition to strengthening the company's corporate branding and positioning.
Liz was also employed by Mahindra British Telecom as 'Product Marketing Manager' for the Planning and Inventory Business Unit, where she had responsibility for managing all marketing communications and increasing awareness both internally and externally, for both the Business Unit and its global solutions portfolio.
Over the years, Liz Barrington has also worked as an interim Marketing Consultant for several major international corporations such as Honeywell and Barclaycard, in addition to providing marketing support to local small UK and Australian businesses.
